6th- Finished up their paper "self" images.
7th- The seventh graders talked about communication. The three types of communication are Verbal, Non verbal and written. We played "telephone", which demonstrated that if we do not receive communication then the message is no good. We read " The Water Closet" which talks of a miscommunication between a British Lady who was referring to the "WC" as the Water closet and a school master who thought the "WC" stood for Weslian Church. We also took a quick group quiz to see if we could sort picture of the three types of communication. We summarized that the definition of Communication is the exchange and understanding of thoughts, messages and ideas.
